TARI SAGELE

This traditional dance is the manifestation of a series of farmers’ activities in their ricefields or gardens. It is usually performed to entertain workers during their time planting rice or corns, so that they won’t feel tired in their work. Tari Sagele is accompanied by the strain of rawa sagele (sagele song) in the rythm of silu (a kind of trumpet) and biola (violin).
